Let’s face it. Some trainings are just BETTER in person!
In-Person Trainings
All About In-Person Trainings And Presentations:
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long are your trainings?
A: I offer half-day, full-day, and multi-day trainings on a variety of topics. Generally shorter trainings are conducted virtually, however, I’m flexible. If you are interested in a shorter, in-person training reach out and let’s chat!
Q: Can you come to us?
A: I will travel and love coming to see your library!
Q: Do you speak or present at other events or just specific trainings?
A: Yes! I love motivational/educational speaking and am thrilled to talk with you about conference keynotes or sessions, training presentations, and any other events you might have in mind!
Q: What do we have to do to prepare for the training?
A: Depending on the training, I may ask that we have a zoom meeting prior to scheduling to ensure that I have all necessary details and specifics to create the most effective training for YOUR group. I always want to make sure I am the best option to provide the training you need!
I provide all agendas, workbooks, activities, and resources for each of my trainings but generally require that you print any necessary handouts. Once we’ve got details for the training scheduled, you can sit back, relax, and participate like everyone else!
Training Topics
I offer in-person trainings on any of the topics listed on my self-paced courses or live-webinars pages as well as many others. The great thing about in-person trainings are that we can expand and individualize those trainings for you!
Some examples of trainings that are great in-person are:
Being Friends With Your Board: Creating effective communication and action while improving board-director relationships.
Succession Planning Made Simple: Work not only on understanding the reasons behind succession planning but also creating an effective and manageable succession plan for your organization.
Creating a Culture of Leadership: Increasing staff investment and empowerment for long-term success
Out-Of-The-Box Programming: Create, innovate, and market sustainable and unique programs that support your community and increase community attendance and involvement.
Creating Respectful Discussion Around Difficult Topics: Navigating uncomfortable issues and finding solutions among staff to ultimately improve services to your community.
I know each library is unique and so are their training needs! If you don’t see a training that quite meets your needs, reach out and let’s see what we can do!
